I saw on Yahoo today that the Obama administration has stopped the deportation of some 800,000 illegal immigrants. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against immigration, my own ancestors came over from Czechoslovakia.

What I am against, is folks coming here illegally and then acting like they have the right to be here and the right to all the benefits of living in America.


There are options, but coming here illegally and then being rewarded with a work visa shouldn't be one of them. If we are a Nation governed by the Rule of Law, then enforce the existing laws and don't reward the law breakers.

As far as options go, one option is to reform our immigration laws to accommodate more immigrants each year and make the immigration process easier and more streamlined. Another option for those that just want to work here temporarily is to reinstate the old Bracero Program. These are just a couple.

Crime should never pay. Giving out work visas to illegal immigrants is making crime pay. That's just wrong.
